Everyone keeps hyping the 'best early game' shield being easy to get on the highwall, being the silver eagle kite shield since its apparently the first with 100% physical reduction???The standard ass knight shield you start with has better stats in EVERY category except damage which is a redundant stat for shields. And on top of it it weighs less and has parry which can be very useful compared to weapon skill on kite shield.WTF am i missing???Reference:The knight shield is literally superior in every way. I have upgraded my Zweihander to +5 lightening and am currently attempting to upgrade any of my non unique shields to past +5, but for some reason their icons are not showing in the upgrade / modify menu. Is there an event I need to complete or trigger? I have all of the required souls and items.

Just putting this out there: Great for Hollow builds. One of the few shields in the game that A: Can be infused, B: Has Weapon Skill instead of Parry (useful if you're using a weapon with a good WA like the Follower Spear or even Exile Greatsword), and C has 100% physical absorbtion (though this decreases to 95% when Hollow Infused until you get it to +10).
Dark Souls Eagle Shield Or Grass Crest Shield
Trust me, I've been scouring the wiki for a better shield, but I just can't seem to beat the Hollow Eagle Kite Shield (yes, the game replaces 'Silver' with whatever infusion name when it's infused) at least for my playstyle.
